Clean coal industry has already advanced to a level that is environmentally acceptable. The only ones against it are Communists, socialists, and climate change lunatics. Do not believe these people. Until the alternative energy sources are sufficient enough to handle the load and cheap enough, use of coal plants should not be stopped. The Philippines being an archaepelago has a small carbon footprint. Long live Sual coal power plant. What the government should do is construct a sewage treatment plant in Manila, Dagupan or Lingayen and the digested sewage mixed with the coal to obtain a clean coal process. This will also provide a cleaner environment instead of just dumping raw sewage into Manila Bay or Tundaligan n San Fabian beach….

Bakit tayo magpapapwersa na mag clean and expensive energy kung cla OK lang at masmalaki ang ginagamit?
Convert it into a Waste to Energy plant — extract energy from the incineration of garbage and also be able to retrieve metals and other materials that can be used as additives to cement and asphalt for infrastructure projects. The Philippines still uses land fills, which produce green house gases and water contaminants.

Ang laki ng mga budget ng projects ngayon. Like for example restoration ng house of representatives 140million yet there's not so much difference. Parang nakakaduda lang ilan ba talaga napupunta sa "project" at ilan nabubulsa ni mayor/lgu
