PGMA was the reason why numbers during PNoy's term are in good levels but what did they do to her after her term was to tarnish her legacy and put all the blame on her so that the PNoy admin will grab all the credits. There's this 1 graph that this or the other channel presented i 1 of their videos that illustrates how PH economy plateaued during PNoy's term.
PH was one of the most promising investment destinations in the '50s and 60s & second only to Japan's per capita income ($1100) with ours at $1030. Many of our neighbors like Korea looked at PH as an impossible dream, bec. we were far richer than most of Asia. Investments grew despite the fact that PH was an archipelago frequently visited by typhoons, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes & calamities. Ergo, it's the communist & MNLF/MILF insurgencies, corruption, oligarchism, poor savings mentality, cronyism, and political and economic mismanagement of the 70s, 80s, and until the 90s and poor capital formation below 20%, way lower than our neighbors of 20-30%, that led to our poor economic growth. It was only with the growth of OFW remittances and the BPO & services sector, (thanks to US occupation) that fueled domestic consumption & coupled with more reforms & infra projects implemented by PNoy and PRRD that PH grew exponentially. We hope PBBM can continue more reforms and grow our FDI and improve our weak export & agri sectors too, to further push our growth. Filipinos should mature as a nation and stop fighting over political colors which is causing us to be divided. Though I'm not a fan of BBM, I believe this is the essence of BBM's unity plea, and we should heed it while staying vigilant of any gov't. irregularities in the future.

Ah yes, BP thank you for highlighting this and maybe noticing my comment, I appreciated this for highlighting what he did well for the country. you also shared key highlights about the global problems of certain presidencies during their term which is quite remarkable as well.
the biggest takeaway here is shedding light on what made certain departments or local LGUs became rampant if not totally corrupt (neglecting their work properly) which led to my assumption of weak Executive powers. i also blamed the Departments of the Government for being corrupt which could be true or not. however, thanks to your input highlighting what Diokno published about Aquino which points out why the LGUs has been so corrupt and if not pathetic or a failure until now which has can be reflected since duterte and today's term.
however, despite those slumps of LGU, i'm already seeing new progress and improvements of service at todays tenure. slow but atleast it is already changing. compared i how i see it during and after the tenure of Aquino. (public service and et al.)
5:06 I don't think K to 12 help the student to be prepared because of how unplan for most of the schools to the implementation the system, the promised that some subject will be removed on college didn't happen which we study all over again. In addition of pandemic which forces others to stop on their education. Now students are expected to graduate at the age of 24-26 for professional which we consider a heavy burden to our parents. The reason why in my generation we don't think of having a child because on how long you need to support the child before becoming contributor to our society.

Yes, those numbers don't lie during his term, GDP, corruption Index, ease of doing business, poverty rate, stock index, the higher purchasing power of the peso, etc, have improved during his term. Only those people who hate him downplay these data.
